Setting up

Parking is available in retail spaces. You can find us in the Woodward Loft side entrance on Tower Grove Ave, with a white Yes Honey Studio sign on this side of the building. Our front door entrance is right below the sign. Restrooms and a water filling station can be found down through the back exit to the left.

What to Bring

Be sure to bring a water bottle with you and place it in the cubbies or along the wall. Mats and equipment are provided for use in class. You are welcome to bring your own mat.

What Class to Choose

For first time classes we recommend YES MOVE. If you have dance experience or just are looking to learn choreography, everyone is invited to a beginner / intermediate YES CHOREO class. How to pick your first instructor? We recommend reading the instructor bios, finding styles you’re drawn to (hip hop, musical theatre, jazz, pop, etc), and picking from there.

  • You can park for free in the Woodward Loft parking lot, or on Hunt Ave.

  • The studio has a side entrance on Tower Grove Ave. There is a big white Yes Honey Studio sign on this side of the building and our front door entrance is right below that sign.

For more detailed instructions on how to get to the studio, visit our contact page here.

  • YES MOVE is our follow-the-leader style class. This class is about 45 minutes of dance cardio, 10 minutes of strength training and ends with a 5 minute cool down. All of our YES MOVE class are categorized at beginner or intermediate level and will list the playlist and dance style so you know what to expect!

YES CHOREO is more like a traditional dance class where you will learn 30-45 sec dance sequence. In the class name you will find the song you'll be dancing to, dance style, and skill level. Our YES CHOREO classes are mostly categorized by beginner or beginner/intermediate and Sundays at 7pm we offer Advanced Hip-Hop.

YES STRENGTH is our strength training class. We offer Barre, Pilates, and Boot(y) Camp. These classes are a full hour, but we offer mid-day Express classes that are only 45 minutes long if you're on-the-go. All of our classes are listed as Beginner/Intermediate making them accessible for everyone! We recommend you bring your own mats for these classes, but provide any other equipment you may need.

YES YOGA is incorporates simple flowing sequences to warm up the body, as well as slower paced movements focusing on alignment, strength, balance, and flexibility. This class is for everyone, no experience or flexibility is required.

You can find the entire schedule here!

  • We offer three types of class levels! Beginner, Beginner/Intermediate, and Advanced.

Beginner: In this class, come ready with zero dance experience! Expect choreography to full-counts, repeats of choreography, and a focus on having a good time!

Beginner/Intermediate: In this class, come ready for a slight push. Expect choreography to full-counts & and-counts, added stylization & weight changes, but with the same fun-focus!

Advanced: This is a dancer’s dance class. Expect high-cardio training with a focus on movement style, performance level, and showmanship. Dance experience is not required, but encouraged!

  • Single classes are $22. We offer a 5 and 10 class pack that expires after 12 months. The 5 pack is $100 and the 10 pack is $180. You can also do a single month unlimited for $175 dollars. Our monthly membership costs $125 and has a 3 month minimum. This is a great option if you’re planning on attending 3 or more classes a week.

  • We offer gift cards available on our website to make it easy for them to use or if you send us an email or call, we can assist you in purchasing a class on their account!

  • While we don’t have a class specifically for 35 and older, many of our members are 35+!

  • Yes, we do! Visit more information here or send an email to hello@yeshoneystudio.com to get started!

  • We do accept walk-ins, but signing up helps our instructors know a head count. Our classes do sell out so signing up guarantees you a spot in class!

  • Healthcare, military, teachers, and students get 20% off. Email us for your discount code!

  • NO! All of our classes listed as (Beginner) or (Beginner/Intermediate) are for people who don’t have a dance background. However, many trained dancers will enjoy taking these classes as well. The instructors will walk everyone through the basic foundations to help you feel empowered and confident.

  • For optimal dancing comfort and support, we recommend chunky heels with ankle support or lace up heels. No stilettos. Heels with rubber bottoms provide the best support.

  • For beginners the ideal height would be about 3-3.75 inches. We suggest no higher than 4 inches for dancers.

  • No! All of our heels classes are heels optional. If you want to join a heels class but are feeling uneasy about wearing heels, COME anyways! In every heels class at YES HONEY, there are clients who choose to wear sneakers instead of heels. Our ultimate goal is for clients to find a fun way to sweat.

  • We recommend keeping some in your bag for heels classes. Here is a link to some that work well, but they do run small:

    Kneepads

We encourage dance, yoga, fitness & barré instructors to submit their resumes, as we refer to these when positions become available. We require dancers to provide a CV, reel, or video to be considered for an audition. Although not required, videos and social media links are helpful for yoga and fitness applicants. If you are interested in working at the front desk AKA our deskie position, please email us your resume.

We are currently fully staffed for deskies & dance instructors but we are always accepting resumes. We are currently looking to hire barré instructors. Please email us your resume at hello@yeshoneystudio.com and include any certifications you have completed.
